I noticed that if I lower the resolution to 1440x900 instead of 1650x1050 and turn on Nvidia's scaling instead of checking the box that says to use the digital display's scaling, the game not only looks better, but I get an extra 10fps.
The setting to change is in the Nvidia control panel and I think it only works if you have a display connected via the DVI output on your card.
I know this is out of topic but I can another reverse cell phone lookup and it worked.
